1/21/09 Man what a great convention we had this past weekend, even though we had some snow and very cold weather, the turn out was great! Lots of people came to get tattooed and pierced and look around at the scheduled events. The artists came up with some great new art work. The night life was active with some great bands rocking us after the show each night. The casino did a wonderful job putting it all together, and what an impressive give away with the Ed Hardy Smart Car.
Seeing Rick and Oliver tattooing the #13 on folks was quite the sight. They managed to squeeze in 111 of them.
One of the highlights of the show was to see Rick being recognized by his peers and long time friends as they recognized his 40 years tattooing with an active voice that made changes that forever improved the tattoo industry. I must say I am honored to call Rick a friend as well. So congratulations to you, Rick, for the 40 years you have given and the next 40 you will share with us.
1/3/09 Rick and Oliver Peck will be tattooing together during the show, they will be tattooing a #13 as a keep sake from the show. Special pricing will be in effect for this.
1/2/09 More cool news coming from Rick's. Middle Linebacker Nick Barnett will be getting tattooed by Rick on Thursday at the show, great chance to meet and talk with him, and catch an autograph! We will see you there!!
12/30/08 As Rick and the boys get ready for the big show, they got a call from the Oneida Casino about a way cool giveaway that will be done during the show. Need a new car? A smart car? A limited edition smart car with Ed Hardy art work on it? Click on the car for more info.
12/7/08 Rick just had a great 11 page feature article in the current month January issue of INTERNATIONAL TATTOO ART check it out here to see some of it. Also in SKIN & INK the current January issue he has a free poster you can have if you buy the magazine in the continuation of the "LEGENDS SERIES" the poster is called "Apocalyptic" You can click here to see some of it.

6/23/08 Here is something new at Rick's. We had some custom shirts made that were designed by Rick himself! They are Dickies short sleeve work shirts that feature a heavy cloth material with custom high quality embroidery on the front and back. These shirts are $100.00 each. Hello from Rick's! Thanks for taking a look at our new web site. Take a look around. We are still adding more pictures and information every week so check back often. Rick is celebrating his 40th year of tattooing.
Once you have made your decision to have Rick, Dan or Josh do your tattoo, you will need a consultation. A consultation is necessary to schedule tattoo appointments. Written estimates will be done during consultations. You may do your consultation through snail mail, via
e-mail, online form or stop in the studio during scheduled business hours.
After consultation, we will be able to schedule your tattoo appointment. A $60.00 deposit is required on all scheduled appointments and will be applied towards the cost of your tattoo. You may schedule your appointment over the net, but we must receive the deposit within five (5) days after scheduling your appointment, or you may pay via Visa, Master card or Discover.
WISCONSIN STATE LAW - No one under the age of 18 may be tattooed. Picture ID is required before getting any tattoo. Our studio specializes in custom work, originals and replicas. We do cover-ups of unwanted tattoos and scars. Also, we do recoloring and restoration of all tattoos. Tattoos By Rick does not do any body piercing, as we do not feel it has anything to do with the art of tattooing.
A person's flexibility and the amount of work required will determine how soon a person may get an appointment with Rick for the actual tattoo.
